Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS)
Child Dental Benefits Schedule
The CDBS is a bulk-billed government program that provides up to $1000 for eligible children ages 2-17 to seek general and preventative dental care. We choose to bulk-bill these services to minimize out of pocket expenses to families. The types of procedures covered include:
Examination
Xrays
Cleaning
Fillings
Extractions
Emergency care
Most general dental procedures are covered, but some special procedures such as orthodontics, treatment under general anaesthetic and cosmetic treatment are not included.
