After graduating from the University of Queensland with first class honours, Kate returned to Coffs Harbour to the place she’s proud to call home. Kate was the 2015 Australian Young Professional of the Year from Professions Australia and 2021 ADA Outstanding Young Professional of the Year.
Kate has been involved with research and education at several Australian universities, has a Masters in Health Professional Education and is an assessor for the Australian Dental Council. Kate has been involved with the Australian Dental Association for over a decade with Committee and Board positions. Kate has served as the President of the local ADA Division and Study group and continues to be involved with the organisation of local, national and International dental education events.
Kate’s clinical interests are in orofacial pain, orthodontics and conservative treatment options.
When not treating patients, you can find Kate playing music (fairly badly, but very enthusiastically), spending time with her family (including Nachi the practice therapy dog) and sharing adventures as a leader of the local 10-14 years Girl Guide group.
